What others are saying about this book

"I don't like Science Fiction, but once I started, I couldn't put it down. The chapters are like potato chips. (just one more). The characters are rich and fully developed and will make you both laugh and cry. I would recommend this book for people who don't like Science Fiction (like me)." - T. Banner

"The best unpublished Science Fiction story I've ever read!" CAPT D. Randle, USN (reviewing pre-publication draft)

"I can see the characters in my mind, how they look and act.  And Lauriel is hot!" - PhantomNT

4-STARS Amazing! See Detailed Ratings By FAR, one of the best books I have ever read; if not THE BEST! ...you can't put the book down! PhantomNT

4-STARS January 2009: I really enjoyed Project Timeslip. I got the book for Christmas and had it finished a couple of days later. It was a very easy read once I got started.

I thought the plotline was unique, which is not easy to find these days. So many books seem to re-hash old plots. It had a very interesting new twist on racism and discrimination.

My only negative criticism is that the book could have easily been twice as long. ...an excellent job at character development... I don't know if there is enough left for a sequel, but I would like to read more.

5-STARS See Detailed Ratings Great Book This is my first science fiction book to read in years. I always read mysteries, gothic, or love stories. Once I was into it, I found out it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. A lot of books you read and later forget, but this is one book that is so different, I don't think I will ever forget it. The way the author described things, I could actually see and smell (yes smell) things. I would like to see this book made into a movie and I would hope they would keep it with the PG rating, so younger ones could see it too. I think all would enjoy.

The Perfect SciFi for readers who "hate" Scifi 5 out of 5

The genre classification is misleading. The SciFi element of time travel is used only to create a believable setting for the classic conflict of prejudice, racism, and the struggle for freedom in the future USA. This tale does not rely on gadgets and fantastic scenery to keep the reader’s attention.  It is more of a Future Historical Novel. The story evolves around the characters who come to life (and death) to make the reader laugh and cry. The hero is faulty. The villain is almost redeemable. The supporting female character is a role model for today's woman. Romance, action, intrigue, and conflict create a tragedy of “Biblical proportions.” Superstitions, faith, and destiny transform an emotionally immature hero into myth of legendary status.

Regardless of your genre preference, you won’t be disappointed.
